The Old Fashioned is a classic cocktail that originated in the United States in the late 19th century. It’s made by muddling sugar with bitters in an Old Fashioned glass, then adding a shot of whiskey (usually bourbon or rye) and a twist of citrus peel. The ingredients are then stirred and served over ice. The Old Fashioned is a simple but robust cocktail perfect for whiskey lovers. The balance of sweet and bitter flavours, combined with the complexity of the whiskey, creates a unique and enjoyable drink. It’s a timeless classic that’s still popular today, and it’s a must-try for those who like to experiment with different flavours and ingredients in their cocktails.
